WHERE INSIGHT MEETS LASTING CHANGE
Meet Our Oak Brook Lead
Megan Neberz, LCPC (she/her)
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor & Supervisor
As the Oak Brook Lead, my vision is to maintain and embody CFT’s core commitments to depth-oriented psychotherapy, professional growth and extensive training of our clinicians, community connection, and social justice-informed care. My goal is to ensure that all clients and staff can engage in meaningful and transformative work.
Before I joined CFT in 2019, I worked in two residential eating disorder treatment centers, foster care and school systems, as well as previous experience in private practice. I earned my Masters in Clinical Psychology: Counseling Practice from Roosevelt University and completed my clincial practicum at The Awakening Center in Roscoe Village. During my undergraduate time at the University of Dayton, I assisted in research projects with the Social Behavior and Personality team in the Psychology department. I have been supervising clinicians here at CFT for five years. I enjoy collaborating across the team to ensure our clients receive the best possible care and that staff feel supported and connected.
My clinical work is rooted in a Relational and Psychodynamic lens, emphasizing the need for understanding and compassion to client’s unique experiences, values, and identities. My experiences have allowed me to build relationships that help people create the change they want for themselves, integrating both insight-oriented and practical strategies.
Please reach out to me directly at info@centerfocusedtherapy.com with any needs related to our Oak Brook location and I am happy to connect!
