Therapy can be an invitation to look beneath the surface; at the patterns, systems, and stories that have shaped you. As a psychoanalytic and systems-oriented therapist, I believe the challenges we face in the present are often influenced by the full sum of our experiences, including our relationships, identities, and the environments we navigate. I aim to create spaces that feel collaborative, honest, and nonjudgmental. Together we can explore not just your struggles but also your capacity for growth and resilience. You’ll find that I am not afraid to name differences and complexities in the room as a way to strengthen our understanding and build trust.

My practice is deeply informed by my lived experience as a queer person and sex educator. I’ve supported emerging adults and seniors, members of the LGBTQ+ community, neurodiverse individuals, people in recovery, and those navigating alternative lifestyles or marginalized identities. My approach integrates a variety of modalities, including Attachment Theory, ACT, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based frameworks.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade in healthcare and social justice spaces — counseling in addiction recovery programs, coordinating community food access, and advocating for patients navigating complex medical systems. I bring that same spirit of advocacy into the therapy room, where I work to help clients build support systems that affirm who they are and where they want to go.

Together, we’ll explore what feels most meaningful and challenging for you, while I offer practical tools and resources to help you navigate those moments both inside and outside of our sessions. If you’re ready to take that step toward greater insight and support, I invite you to reach out. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Ms. Leidig will begin seeing new clients June 2025
