Life can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns we don't fully understand. Joy can become tangled with self-doubt, love complicated by resentment, and confidence shaken by old fears. We all carry parts of ourselves we're proud of and parts we'd rather hide. I believe growth begins when we turn toward every part of ourselves with compassion. Together, we'll get curious about what's happening beneath the surface so you can experience greater calm, confidence, and more fulfilling relationships.  Good news - you don't have to figure it out alone.

I believe lasting change begins when we compassionately turn toward every part of ourselves, even the ones we'd rather avoid. My goal is to create a grounded, collaborative space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), I integrate IFS with relational psychodynamic therapy and Gottman informed work to help you understand the patterns that keep you stuck, heal old wounds, and build a stronger, more trusting relationship with yourself and others. Together, we'll develop practical ways to navigate difficult emotions, respond instead of react, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than a decade as a senior business leader while balancing the demands of career, family life, and fatherhood. That experience gives me firsthand insight into the pressures many people face while trying to succeed at work, show up in relationships, and care for the people who matter most.  I work with individuals and couples, with particular experience supporting high achievers, men, and LGBTQ+ clients. Together, we work through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions to build greater clarity, confidence, and self-understanding.

When I'm not in session, you'll usually find me exploring Chicago's food scene, practicing martial arts at the dojo, or volunteering with local LGBTQ+ organizations. If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you with curiosity, compassion, and genuine respect, I'd welcome the opportunity to connect and see whether we're a good fit.
