Starting therapy can feel intimidating—there’s often uncertainty, fear of judgment, or the  discomfort of exploring emotions you’ve kept buried for a long time. But fear often signals an  opportunity for growth. In therapy, I aim to create a space that feels relaxed, open, and even  enjoyable, where laughter can exist alongside deep emotional work. My approach centers on  building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship—because meaningful change happens most  reliably when you feel safe, seen, and understood.

After earning my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University  in 2020, I’ve spent the past five years providing therapy in a variety of clinical settings across the  Chicagoland area. My experience includes working with adults navigating intense shame,  difficulty regulating emotions, and low self-esteem. I’ve come to see these challenges not as  flaws, but as protective responses that may have outlived their usefulness—and therapy as the  place where we can begin to shift those patterns with insight and compassion. My practice integrates psychodynamic exploration with cognitive-behavioral tools and mindful self compassion practices. This helps clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves which often lays the foundation for real, lasting change.

I also enjoy supporting clients struggling with  anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, gender and sexuality concerns, communication  challenges, and men’s issues. I especially welcome LGBTQ+ clients and those who may not  have had many safe spaces to explore their inner lives. If you’ve ever felt like therapy might be helpful—but also a little scary—I get it. My hope is to  meet you right there, with warmth, understanding, and a sense of humor. If any part of this resonated with you, I encourage you to reach out. Looking forward to meeting you!
