Therapy can be an act of reclamation: a place to speak your truth. In a society shaped by power, privilege, and oppression, choosing to tell your story can be deeply personal and often transformative. I strive to create and hold a space where your identities, histories, and complexities are not only safe but celebrated.
As a psychodynamic and systems-oriented therapist, I see how individual struggles are connected to larger systems and patterns. Together, we’ll name what’s shaped you, explore your capacity for change, and strengthen the parts of you that already know how to resist and thrive. My commitment is to offer you a space that is collaborative, honest, and grounded in trust, even when the truths are hard.
My practice is deeply informed by my own lived experience as a queer person and sex educator. I’ve supported emerging adults and seniors, members of the LGBTQ+ community, neurodiverse individuals, people in recovery, and those navigating alternative lifestyles or marginalized identities. My approach integrates my certification as an alcohol and drug counselor with a variety of modalities, including Attachment Theory, ACT, DBT, Internal Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade in healthcare and social justice spaces — providing counseling in addiction recovery programs, coordinating community food access, and advocating for patients navigating complex medical systems. I bring that same spirit of advocacy into the therapy room, where I work to help clients build support systems that affirm who they are and where they want to go.
Together, let's explore what feels most meaningful and challenging for you, while I offer practical tools and resources to help you navigate those moments both inside and outside of our sessions.
