To be human is to feel a wide range of emotions that ebb and flow. I strongly believe that within our capacity to feel exists the potential for meaningful connection and growth. Life can be unpredictably challenging or just too heavy to carry alone. We all deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported. Therapy is a space where the act of sharing emotions, pain, and personal truth can be powerful. I see it as a privilege to be invited into someone’s inner world, to sit with them in their vulnerability, and to honor the courage it takes to show up fully.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the power of human connection. In therapy, I use a collaborative approach that is grounded in warmth, presence, and a respect for the complexity of your identities. As we work to make sense of things together, I aim to create a space where the unspoken can be voiced and emotions can be honored without judgment. I lead with compassion so you can feel safe bringing your full, authentic self to this journey. While I draw from psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive-behavioral approaches, I take time to be curious about who you are so I can tailor my approach uniquely to your needs and pace. I believe that therapy is most powerful when it is attuned to what matters to you.
I have had the privilege of working with children, adults, and couples across various clinical settings, including private practices, university counseling centers, hospital settings, and community mental health agencies. My experience also includes supporting individuals through a range of concerns, such as traumatic experiences, life transitions, grief and loss, identity development, depression, anxiety, and family of origin issues. I am particularly passionate about navigating relational challenges, such as attachment wounds, interpersonal trauma, or difficulties in relationships. This passion fuels my interest in couples therapy, where I guide partners to address their challenges and deepen their understanding of each other. My identity as a South Asian woman also reinforces my commitment to supporting BIPOC individuals, as well as those who are navigating the nuances of gender, family dynamics, intergenerational trauma, and cultural or systemic stress.
If you’re curious about therapy or are seeking a space where you can feel seen and supported, I invite you to reach out. Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or returning to the work, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey.
