Life is full of transitions, questions, and challenges – some we expect, and others catch us off guard. I believe therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in ways that feel both grounding and empowering in the midst of the flurry of life. Therapy can provide a space where exploration and healing can come from surprising places like curiosity, creativity, and even laughter.

I approach therapy from a place of warmth, collaboration, and flexibility. I bring my background as an improviser and high school teacher into the room, which means I value acceptance, presence, and vulnerability. I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — approaches that deepen your connection to your emotions and facilitate greater self-understanding, and self compassion. I love incorporating creativity and experiential methods like storytelling, metaphor, writing, or play, but only when it resonates with you. I aim to create a non-judgemental space that is attuned to your unique voice and experience.

I strive to offer a space that affirms and celebrates the full spectrum of identity and expression. I have worked with a variety of ages in my past experience in college counseling and hospital settings. I’m passionate about supporting individuals navigating life transitions, relationship issues, exploring their identity, dealing with anxiety and depression, and those who are having trouble with self-esteem. These challenges are relatable and disruptive, but they are manageable with the right support. I also offer bilingual therapy in English and Spanish, and enjoy working with clients navigating bicultural identities.

If you’re curious about starting therapy, or looking for a space to grow, question, feel, or simply be heard, I’d be honored to connect with you.
