As a therapist, I take a feminist relational approach, and my style is based in compassion, curiosity, humor, and acceptance. I am not a cookie-cutter therapist, here to offer only quick fixes or overgeneralized solutions. Instead, I prioritize collaborating with you to build safety, trust, and transparency so that you can bring your full, authentic self to the therapy room. Together, we can co-create a space and therapeutic relationship that honors your history, strengths, values, and beliefs, in order to cultivate deep-rooted, lasting change.

I specialize in trauma work, and have a particular focus on working with transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary, intersex, lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, asexual, non-monogamous, and sexually diverse clients, as well as people who identify as disabled, neurodivergent, or chronically ill. I have many years of experience working with students, artists, survivors, and activists in a range of roles, including case management, hotline based crisis intervention, and running peace circles for survivors of sexual violence.

My approach to therapy is grounded in harm reduction, mindfulness, and social justice, and I welcome explorations of the many ways that power, privilege, oppression, and identity impact our lives. Our work can help you identify ingrained patterns so you can begin to let go of coping mechanisms that aren’t serving you anymore, and replace them with more sustainable skills and strategies. This work can help us learn to live more fully in the present moment, manage painful emotions, develop self-compassion, and build stronger, more genuine relationships. Together, we can work to honor your resiliency, finding a balance between deep self-acceptance and commitment to change, so that you can not only survive, but thrive.
